Long hot showers and yaye, us girls got to wash the salt out of our hair
Treat...Dined at restaurant near marina
Pizza and red wine
Caught up on next episode of Arrested Development

2nd June

Recovery day
Washed down yacht
Caught up on emails and worked on entries for blog
Arrested Development, get the picture!
Food so good..Pizza and red wine again
Marie came down with a virus today

3rd June

Scrubbed down yacht with teak wonder cleaner
Washed all squab covers and curtains, saloon looking smart
Marie still feeling poorly
Jo attempted to make one of Marie's specialties for dinner, it ended up a concoction of sorts
Next time I'll be a little more observant

4th June

Treated teak with teak wonder oil, 1 can only covered 1/3 of area
Teak was very thirsty, turned yellow, unsure if we like result
Dinner at our new found favorite spot
Our intentions are to try everything on the menu

5th June

A phone call was made to confirm boat chandlers opening hours
Brett and I made special trip into Split to get some gear, list a mile long
including more teak oil to finish the job, but boat chandlers were closed for siesta, by the time we got there
Brett and I checked out Joker, big shopping complex
Floors and floors of shops, very modern and air conditioned! Picture theatre, gym, with restaurant/bar on top floor Felt like you were on a cruise liner, with a large lap pool on the roof top

6th June

Location: Marina Kastela
Today must be the hottest day we have experienced so far
The marina is busy with charter boats
Did a big shopping to stock up and started putting a grab bag together
American hot dogs with all the trimmings for dinner

ps grocery shopping is a mission, not much variety and it's hard to work out whats in the packaging. Mostly hit and miss
